About This Policy Commission


The Financial Markets and Financial Inclusion Policy Commission is a working group of private and
public sector executives committed to the strengthening of the policy and regulatory environment of
Nigeria’s Financial Sector.

The Policy Commission facilitates the adoption of various financial sector specific Nigerian Economic
Summit recommendations with a view to improving Nigeria’s financial system and positioning the
sector to stimulate and support economic growth and poverty reduction.

Objective: This thematic group is dedicated to driving advocacy initiatives geared towards achieving 80% financial inclusion rate by 2020.

Non-Banking Financial Services Institutions

Objective: This thematic group works to enhance the effectiveness of Nigeria's Non-Bank Financial Sector, with Pension, Mortgage and Insurance as priority industries.

Financial Technology

Objective: This thematic group is focused on establishing Fin Tech as a vital industry group that captures the interest of policy makers and creating an ecosystem that supports the growth of Fin Tech in Nigeria.
